表达房子乱的时候，要用messy，而不是dirty。dirty有因太脏而无法使用的含义，因此根据情况的不同会给对方带来不必要的误解。我们一般认为dirty只有‘脏’这一个词义，所以在其使用上很有限制。
dirty除了‘脏’，还有‘卑鄙的，下流的，卑劣的，暗淡的、肮脏的;龌龊的;污秽的;下流的;色情的;黄色的;猥亵的;令人厌恶的;卑鄙的;不诚实的’等词义。
