A.接可数名词单数表示：某个小+人或动物或事物，如：
I might have known I'd find you with some little slut.

B.接可数名词复数表示：几个（一些）小+人或动物或事物，如：

2.接不可数名词，表示相当多的，即quite a lot,a considerable amount,表示肯定的意义。既然a little一个little表示肯定意义，那么一些little自然更表示肯定意义了。如：
They continued to whisper for some little time.
他们接着低声耳语了一会儿。
We are going to be working together for some little time yet .
我们打算一起工作好长一段时间。
I hope this is the last we see of him foe some little time!
